Career Empowerment and Resilience
Many capable, intelligent women find themselves overwhelmed at work — saying yes too often, carrying emotional labor for teams, avoiding conflict, or quietly questioning their own authority. From the outside, they appear high-functioning and competent. Internally, they may feel depleted, resentful, or unconfident. Professional success does not automatically translate into professional ease.
In our work together, we look beneath surface-level productivity strategies and explore the deeper patterns that shape how you view yourself and how you show up in your career. Patterns like caretaking, difficulty setting boundaries, discomfort with conflict, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, or tying self-worth too tightly to achievement. These dynamics often begin long before your current role — and they quietly influence how you communicate, lead, and advocate for yourself.
This is not traditional career coaching. It is therapeutic, insight-oriented work that strengthens your internal foundation while building practical relational skills.
Together, we focus on:
Clarifying your professional values and leadership identity
Strengthening self-esteem and self-trust
Learning to communicate clearly and confidently — both up and down your organization chain
Setting sustainable boundaries without guilt
Navigating workplace conflict with steadiness
Recovering from burnout and rebuilding resilience
Creating healthier work/life integration that protects your energy
Burnout is rarely just about workload. It often reflects chronic over-functioning, blurred boundaries, and misalignment between your inner life and outer demands. Therapy provides a space to recalibrate — not by withdrawing from ambition, but by redefining how you inhabit it.
To better support women in this important area, I earned a Women in Leadership Certificate from Cornell University. This advanced training deepened my understanding of the structural, relational, and psychological dynamics women face in professional environments — and strengthened my skills in helping women navigate those challenges with clarity, authority, and strategic confidence. It informs the way I support clients in communicating effectively, leading with presence, and advocating for themselves within complex organizational systems.
From my Chicago-based practice, I offer career empowerment and burnout support in person and via telehealth throughout Illinois. This work is about helping you lead — and live — with clarity, confidence, and sustainability.
